Before jumping into the MBBS admission process in India, it's a good idea to know everything about the duration of your MBBS course.

The duration of MBBS course is 5 years 6 Months including a rotating internship of one year. An internship is mandatory and you can only complete the course by completing the internship. The duration of MBBS academic course is 4 years 6 Months that comprises of nine semesters. MCI (Medical Council of India) is the only accreditation body in India for MBBS courses. The Indian Medical Council is responsible for building / renewing MBBS courses inIndia.
